Abstract

Во текот на животот луѓето усвојуваат голем број назборови. Според некои проценки, изворните говорители на англискиотјазик со завршено средно образование знаат околу 20.000 зборовнисемејства, или 32.000 лексички единици. Според други проценки, тој броје многу поголем и може да биде и над 50.000. Овие бројки и фактот деказборовите се пронаоѓаат за една петтина од секундата зборуваат за големаорганизираност на зборовите во умот или во менталниот лексикон. Иакоистражувачите се обидуваат да продрат во тајните на умот и да ги откријаторганизацијата и функционирањето на менталниот лексикон, голем дел одтоа сè уште е мистерија. Во овој труд се дискутира за истражувањата наменталниот лексикон и метафорите со чијашто помош се вршат обиди дасе отсликаат содржината и организацијата на менталниот лексикон.
