Abstract

Media revolution produced by social networking sites (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram) brought irreversible changes to everyday life of almost every person and the social sphere in general. Pressing one button is enough to discover the events anywhere in the world. The networks have led to a completely new journalism sphere. Within the new media frame (also called “third media”), every day we`re witnessingtransparency abuse, cheap exclusivity, hate speech. The network society that has brought new objectivity, timeliness and transparency in journalism is now a subject of trust. Namely, new journalism imposes dilemmas: "what is objective and true information?" "who decides beyond that?" ... It is necessary to clean the space, discover and present the truth, and is crystallization must be made because the risk of accumulating  wrong information, misinformation and its spread, is a serious threat. It is obvious that media ethics fails to meet the challenges of networking conditions having at disposal all its instruments. Perhaps the first thing that comes to mind is legal/law regulation, because networks face lack of law regulation.  But having in mind the clear fundamentality of the network services, settled  on the basis of   freedom of speech and expressionguarantees, any attempt at regulation (objectively or not) is legitimately considered censorship. What is happening today is an initial conflict between traditional journalistic values and the willingness to accept and introduce everything new and online. Is one of the oldest professions strong enough to deal with the new journalistic objectivity?
