Abstract

The article shows the evolution of Norwegian immigration policy in the second half of the 20th century and its current state. Norway has extensive experience in implementing the integration policy. Special attention is paid to the specifics of the country's immigration policy at the current stage, due to the rapi growth in the number of new migrants, as well as the socio-economic, political and cultural consequences of this phenomenon for Norwegian society. This is of particular importance for Norway, which adheres to the policy of multiculturalism.
