FORMAL MECHANISMS FOR CONTROL AND APPLICATION OF INTERNATIONAL LABOR STANDARDS

Abstract

The Constitution of the International Labor Organization established a special system for control and application of international labor standards. This system, at the core, consists of examining reports and procedures for complaints and appeals. Although it is a complex system, which during the decade's existence of the ILO has yielded results, however, it can not achieve significant effects in the application of international labor standards.
