Abstract

Often we can hear "stories" about cases of violent "calculations" in which often the position of victims belongs to girls or women. Most often because this phenomenon is as simple as it is complicated. What we can realistically see when it comes to violence in general, and especially about violence in the family, the household, and what, thanks to our, often premature conclusions are really different things. Different because the society with its stakeholders managed to trivialize something that each textbook, pamphlet and scientific paper defines as a negative social phenomenon. Each system, even the most ideal one, in one way or another, was in the prevention of domestic violence and violence against women, and as a society, we are making efforts to create effective mechanisms for improving the prevention, prosecution and sanctioning of perpetrators and protection and assistance victims. There is still no mechanism that "without error" will help us suppress this phenomenon. (Partly because of mental predispositions, personal attitudes and social (un) opportunities play a major role). However, something that can serve as a "fair" mechanism for now is the Istanbul Convention.

Keywords: society, appearance (phenomenon), prevention, sanctioning, legal act
