ANALYSIS OF THE FIRST-INSTANCE PROCEDURE FOR DETERMINING THE LEGAL STATUS OF ILLEGALLY BUILT CONSTRUCTIONS IN THE REPUBLIC OF NORTH MACEDONIA

Abstract

This paper analyses the procedure for determining the legal status of illegally
built constructions in the Republic of North Macedonia. Before we begin with analysis of the
legal solution to determining the legal status of illegally built constructions in the Republic of
North Macedonia, we shall emphasis the definitions of certain essential terms in this procedure.
We will respond to the questions related to what illegally built construction is, what it means
to determine the legal status, which legal solutions regulate this subject, whose authority this
procedure is etc. We shall also analyze certain activities that are essential to the procedure of
determining the legal status of illegally built constructions.
