Abstract

As a major social, political and economic issue affecting all countries, corruption has become an increasingly studied topic in the past decade. Corruption undermines democratic institutions, slows down economic development and contributes to government instability. Organized crime could never have been created or sustained without the support of government officials. As a form of organized crime, corruption is a very intriguing topic that attracts a lot of attention among the representatives of criminal law thought, not only in our country, but also internationally, and on the Swedish scene, therefore, additional research is necessary.
