Abstract

Globalization of the economy, the development of high-tech industry and the improvement of new forms of doing business led to the importance of the knowledge economy. An economy that is based on the knowledge comes to the fore in the formation of competitiveness of the enterprise. The competitiveness of enterprises in the context of the knowledge economy is a set of indicators such as high technology companies, advanced equipment, high-tech products, qualified personnel. It is the proportion of new knowledge, which account for an increasing share of gross domestic product (GDP). Thus, the knowledge economy - is the production of knowledge, which are based on the development and changes in information and communication technology (ICT). Therefore, this is the economy that creates and disseminates knowledge to accelerate their own growth and competitiveness.
