PETROLOGY OF VOLCANIC ROCKS OF AREA DOBRO POLE-GRADESNICA NORTH MACEDONIA

Abstract

This paper presents the results of the petrological, chemical and geochemical characteristics of the volcanic rocks in the area Kravica-Dobro Pole-Gradesnica in samples collected in the summer of 2019. These rocks belong to the group of trachytes to trachyandesites. The spider diagrams of the normalized values indicate volcanic rocks that are silica-poor volcanics and are associated with subductional related processes.
