Abstract

Observations from the analysis of the operations of large transnational companies that are holders of modern economic processes in the world, forced and national companies too, to actively working on modernizing the processes occurring in organizational portfolio while paying special attention to the implementation of modern hardware - software solutions in their operations. The need for profit and huge technical technological development forced domestic markets to assimilate into a global market where in short interval each company can deliver the required products to the end customer at any point of the global market. The advantages of Internet technology and the connection of customers, retailers and distributors in one distribution channel, where the entire process of trading is performed for several minutes, a need for implementation of modern information systems that operate on certain unified programming platforms (ex. Maximo, Oracle etc.). In this paper, by analytical review organizational structure is represented in transnational company ‘‘KBR Services’‘ and the application of information and communication technologies in the company through the use of the Logistics Information System. The analysis shows that our country is in the initial stages of development, ie the implementation of global standards necessarily require systematic computerized management of the business.
