THE DEVELOPMENT OF MICROFINANCE MARKET

Abstract

In this article the author assesses the prospects of development of Russian market of microfinance services. Microcredit market growth potential is quite high: it can grow by 4-5 times the current market size. With this potential for growth, the Russian market of microfinance is currently showing strong growth. Microfinance has shown to be effective and works primarily in two areas - a consumer loans and small business loans. In the future, the list of microfinance services can significantly expand.
