    Thank you all for the submitted papers following our Call for papers for BSSR Vol. 20.

    Due to increased number of submissions the editorial board will need few days to process all of the papers and do the initial screening. The results from this initial screening are expected no later than 8th November. By this time you will received notification if your paper is proceeded to the reviewers or rejected by the editors.

    Balkan Social Science Review Volume 15

    Dear colleagues and researchers,

    We are pleased to announce the Call for papers for the 15th edition of Balkan Social Science Review (BSSR). BSSR is a scholarly journal established by the Faculty of Law, Goce Delchev University in Shtip, that is devoted to the region of Balkan viewed from length of different Social Science disciplines, but it is also international journal with interest in researches concerning countries other than the Balkans. The journal is part of the open acess system UGD Publishing System, it is published in both electronic and printed version and it is indexed in the following databases: SCOPUS, HeinOnline, EBSCO, CEEOL and Index Copernicus.

    The BSSR aims to contribute to the research on Political Science, International Relations, Human Rights, Law, Sociology, Anthropology, Public Administration, Media and Communications. BSSR welcomes research and review articles on all aspects of the social sciences seen with in the Balkan context, including all interdisciplinary studies within the scope of the Journal, but it is also open for all other international scholars and their international and up-to date researches on social changes in the global world.

    All submissions should be based on original research or new interpretations, and should reflect the highest standards of scholarship.

    Important dates and notes

    • Deadline for submitting manuscripts is May 1, 2020.
    • Acceptance and peer reviews by June 1, 2020.
    • Final version submission June 15, 2020.
    • Online publication of the issue June 25, 2020
    • Printed publication of the issue September, 2020
    • Submition and publication of papers  is free of charge for the authors, and acess to full articles included in the  journal is open for all interested readers.

    Offered articles and book reviews should be send to marija.ampovska@ugd.edu.mk. All submitted manuscripts should contain around 6000 words and should follow this structure: author's name and affiliation, email, the title, abstract (150-300 words), key words, body of the text, and bibliography. Quotation style is APA. Authors should send their papers in English language only, in accordance with the author guidelines and along with the signed Author's Statement (available on http://js.ugd.edu.mk/public/dokumenti/bssr)

    We are pleased to announce the call for papers for the 14th edition of Balkan Social Science Review (BSSR). BSSR is a scholarly journal devoted to the region of Balkan viewed from length of different Social Science disciplines. The journal is indexed in the following databases: SCOPUS, HeinOnline, EBSCO, CEEOL and Index Copernicus.

    The BSSR aims to contribute to the research on Political Science, International Relations, Human Rights, Law, Sociology, Anthropology, Public Administration, Economics and Media concerning the Balkans as well as the correlations and comparison between the Balkans and other countries in the world. BSSR welcomes research and review articles on all aspects of the social sciences seen with in the Balkan context and international context, including all interdisciplinary studies within the scope of the Journal.

    All submissions should be based on original research or new interpretations, and should reflect the highest standards of scholarship.
