Abstract

In our country as well as in many other countries in the world  the reduced birth rate is topical problem which represents reality in everyday life. Because of that the attention to this topic is constantly growing. We can notice that between the natural birth rate and the rate of the economic development there is a high negative correlative dependence. The population in a country is the primary factor for development and economic progress. According to statistical data in Macedonia in the past few years we are confronting a problem such as the attenuation in natural growth of the population, stagnation of natural birth rate, increased mortality rate and a tendency of rapid growth of the population. The natural birth rate of the population includes all the cases of giving birth regardless of whether they are new born children or inanimate, but having in mind that only the new born represent an element for reproduction of the population, there is a need to pull saucer border between alive and inanimate. It is also required to attend the situation permanently and take measures for the maintenance of positive direction, as well as to take account for producing conditions and to strengthen the motivation of the population for conclusion for more number of marriages and on the other side to eliminate the factors which are leading to divorces. The analysis of the infl uence and the degree of dependence between many factors will be made with help of correlation analysis…
