Abstract

This study analyzes the tourism potential of the town of Popovo in the context of regional development and sustainable tourism. The cultural-historical, natural and socio-economic resources of the destination are studied. Through SWOT analysis, key advantages and limitations, as well as development opportunities, are identified. The main conclusion is that through strategic branding and integrated tourism products, Popovo can be positioned as an attractive niche destination.
