Tourism occupies a key place in contemporary geographic education as an interdisciplinary field in which natural, cultural, social, and economic processes intersect, giving it significant potential for shaping students’ value orientations. In school geography, it functions not only as part of the curriculum content but also as a value based core through which students develop attitudes toward sustainable development, the preservation of natural and cultural heritage, intercultural dialogue, and responsible consumption. This study analyzes the role of tourism as a carrier of educational values and examines how curricula, methodological approaches, and practical activities (excursions, field studies, projects) support the formation of civic, environmental, and cultural values.
