Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) integrates environmental considerations with traditional supply chain management practices. The necessity of implementing green practices in supply chain has become increasingly evident in today’s world, where environmental challenges such as climate change, resource depletion, and pollution are intensifying. Green practices in the supply chains can reduce environmental impact, improve resource efficiency and cost savings, enhance company reputation, ensure regulatory compliance, and strengthen long-term resilience. Considering this the aim of the paper is to examine the theoretical foundations for GSCM, highlighting its role in promoting environmental sustainability and improving operational efficiency.
