“EVERYTHING IS FINE” – NOVEL BY JASMINKA PETROVIĆ ON THE UPS AND DOWNS IN ADOLESCENT LIVES

Abstract

Jasminka Petrović is an author who on the literary scene has already
shown that she has a deep sense for literature for children, especially for young people and
adolescents. She’s shown that in her other books, and the novel that is the subject of this study
is yet another demonstration and proof of her talent for uncovering the innermost thrills of
the young adolescent soul is enormous. The composition of the novel is two-part, with an
equal number of stories-confessions in both parts (ten stories in each part). In the first part, the
narrators are adolescents and a dog - Astor, and in the second part, in addition to adolescents,
there are also adults.
