Escape from the war –time in the uncertainties of life to refugee in Bulgaria fundamental rights of persons seeking international protektion in terms of the bureaucratic system in Bulgaria

Abstract

The scientific article presents the situation in the Republic of Bulgaria to the growing humanitarianand refugee crisis. Major emphasis is placed on the adequacy of the Bulgarian system to tackle the challengesof the consequences of the war in Syria. In keeping with the conventions and rules of the European Union theRepublic of Bulgaria is obliged to provide the best conditions for the protection asylum seekers. Gaps in theorganization and the lack of coordination between different institutions creates a prerequisite for gross violationof basic human rights such as the right to information, right to a fair trial, the right to medical assistance and theright to free movement. The urgent need for emergency measures to overcome difficulties related to the lack ofadequate response to State activities aimed at the integration of persons with humanitarian and refugee statuswill improve the quality of life of persons granted international protection. Lack of conditions for studying theBulgarian language on the territory of centers for persons granted refugee or humanitarian status suspendedmonthly benefits make it impossible to social integration of unaccompanied children and families have receivedrefugee status.
