Abstract

“Activity” includes conscious physical and mental movements. When a person thinks about the cases, tries to find the possible solutions of his/her problems, thinks about the cause and effect relationships and produces concrete events, it means that this person is doing an activity. During the learning period, when the number of activities increases, the stimulator – reaction relationship also increases. According to Psychologist Guthrie, activity is based on learning. Guthrie explained this relationship in the following way “What we do is what we learn and also we learn while practicing it. İf you want to know what somebody has learned; you should observe what that person is doing”.
