The Turkish language is rich in a wide variety of interjections, among which special attention is drawn to those that express interpersonal communication through direct address and calling. Interjections used for address and calling function to establish communication by attracting the attention of one or more interlocutors through the use of increased vocal intensity. This study examines interjections of address and calling in contemporary Turkish, focusing on their meanings and their functional and lexical equivalents in the Macedonian language.
